Sooyoung ranks high for MBC Weekly's Supermodel Idol

On the July 4th episode of MBC Everyone's Real Chart Idol Self Ranking of Weekly Idols, the show ranked the top Supermodel Idols in the industry and on the fourth spot is SNSD's Sooyoung beating popular idol-models UEE and Nana, both from After School, who have placed 5th and 7th respectively.

Her pretty face, ideal figure, and shapely legs landed Sooyoung on different magazine covers such as Vogue, InStyle, Marie Claire, and Oh Boy! during the first half of 2012. Unknown to majority of fans, Sooyoung has been modeling prior to her days as members of Girls' Generation. She had already endorsed for Japanese clothing line Chubby Gang back in her Route 0 days as well as Skolooks Uniform along side Yoo Ah In and Jang Geun Seuk back in 2004. Sooyoung has also been featured in Ecole and a 2006 Summer Magazine. MBC Weekly Idol also showed pictures of her first runway modelling stint.

Sooyoung was voted by Sistar member SoYou and U-KISS member Kiseop. The rest of the idols who have placed on the poll were f(x)'s Sulli, EXO-K's Kai, Infinite's Seungyol, SHINee's Minho, CNBlue's Jungshin, solo artist G.Na, and 2AM's Seulong.
